This is a collection of several frame-by-frame animations I created in Krita to sharpen my animation skills and familiarize myself with the software.
I used basic exercises as guidelines, such as drawing a walk cycle, animating a bouncing ball, morphing objects, and creating a turnaround.
For the latter, the challenge was to draw a self-portrait and think about which animal represents you well, then transform into that animal during the rotation. I went with an owl - not because I’m exceptionally wise, but because I’m a total night owl ;)
For the other morphing exercise, I randomly picked an object and an animal.
In the end, I also created suitable backgrounds and added sound effects to some of the animations in After Effects.
